Before You Start

Before opening Play Studio, prepare four things:

• A playable moment
• Your character
• The relationship dynamic
• The character's appearance

Instead of writing a long backstory, think about the first moment where the player enters the conversation.

Ask yourself:

• Where are they?
• What just happened?
• Why does the player need to respond right now?

This approach creates a much stronger first impression than introducing a biography.

Step 1: Choose Your Visual Style

The first decision is your Visual Style.

You can choose:

• Anime
• Realistic

Create the play you wish existed

This affects how your cover image and scene media are rendered.

Important: Once selected, the Visual Style cannot be changed later for that play.

Step 2: Choose Your Creation Method

Play Studio offers two creation modes, and both cost 100 Diamonds.

Magic Creator

Magic is ideal if you already have a strong idea but don't want to build every field manually.

You'll simply describe:

• the situation
• the tension
• optional story or persona notes

Play Studio then generates a draft containing:

• title
• description
• play structure
• opening messages
• suggested replies
• behavior settings
• discovery tag

Think of Magic as your first draft, not the final result. Every generated field can still be edited afterward.

Advanced Creator

If you already know exactly how your AI girlfriend should behave, Advanced gives you full control.

You'll write everything yourself, including:

• Title
• Description
• Play Context
• Opening Messages

Optional fields like Personality, Suggested Replies, Story Seed, Persona Seed, and Tag can also be added to improve consistency and discovery

Choose your level of control. You can refine everything before publishing.

Step 3: Write a Play That Players Want to Join

Magic works best when the prompt contains a setup, tension, and a rule the player can immediately interact with.

The main prompt is required. Story or persona notes are optional.

A useful input pattern

Setup. Name the place, relationship, and immediate situation.

Tension. Explain what the character wants, fears, hides, or risks.

Rule. Give the interaction a repeatable mechanism: a bet, price, dare, confession, deadline, or condition.

EXAMPLE: After midnight in a quiet hotel bar, a married co-worker asks the player for one more drink. Each refill costs her a deeper confession or concession.

Generate Draft costs 100 diamonds. Magic returns a playable draft with title, description, play structure, opening messages, suggested replies, behavior settings, and a discovery tag.

Review the draft before building the character

The generated summary lets you confirm the hook, dynamic, opener, and reply chips before moving on.

Magic Draft shows the generated play and the structure AI used.

EDIT IS FREE: Draft edits are free. Use Edit to revise the generated fields. Regeneration controls may create a new version of an individual field.

Check that the scene creates something the player can do through conversation. If the only appeal depends on watching a long physical sequence, rewrite the hook so dialogue, commands, confessions, choices, or reactions move the scene.

Write the play directly

Advanced exposes the full scene configuration. Four areas are required before you can continue.

Required fields

Title. The short promise visible in discovery.

Description. The situation, tension, and player fantasy in a few sentences.

Context + tokens. The rules and facts the roleplay engine must preserve.

Opening message. The character’s first playable message or sequence of messages.

OPTIONAL BUT USEFUL Personality, suggested replies, story/persona seed, and tag improve consistency and discovery when they add information not already clear elsewhere.

Create a Strong Title

Your title should immediately communicate the core fantasy, conflict, or relationship.

Instead of explaining the whole story, make the player curious enough to click.

Write a Description

A good description usually covers three things:

• the current situation
• the tension or secret
• what the player controls or decides

The goal is to help users imagine what they'll do once the chat begins.

Build the Play Context

The Play Context tells the AI how the roleplay should work.

Include information such as:

• the scene
• relationship dynamic
• interaction loop
• important facts
• boundaries

When writing the context, use the provided tokens:

• {{character}}

Use {{user}} for the player and {{character}} for the character.

These should not be replaced with actual names.

Define the Character Personality

Personality isn't just about appearance.

Instead, describe how your character behaves.

Good personality settings usually include:

• how the character reacts in different situations

Avoid repeating your entire story here. Scene rules belong in the Play Context, while Personality focuses on behavior and voice.

Personality is optional in the form, but valuable for distinctive voice and long-session consistency.

Step 4: Write Opening Messages

The opening determines whether players stay or leave.

Add opening bubbles individually with the + button.

Instead of writing one large paragraph, each opening message is added as its own chat bubble.

A strong opening should:

• establish the situation
• create immediate tension
• stop before deciding the player's action

Leave room for the player to respond naturally.

Step 5: Add Suggested Replies

Suggested Replies help players start the conversation without staring at a blank chat box.

Instead of offering several versions of the same answer, create replies that lead in different directions.

For example, one reply might:

• move the story forward
• challenge the character
• ask about a secret
• change the power dynamic

Different reply options make the conversation feel more interactive from the very beginning.

Step 6: Configure Character Behavior

Play Studio lets you adjust several default behavior settings.

Mode, Vibe, Heat, and Character style.

Add optional details only when they help

Story seed and tag should expand the play—not duplicate the description.

Optional story/persona seed and discovery tag.

Use this for extra character history, secrets, escalation events, supporting facts, or future directions that should emerge naturally after the opening.

Tag

Use one concrete, searchable concept that identifies the scene’s main appeal. Keep it specific enough to set expectations.

Step 7: Create Your AI Girlfriend's Appearance

Now it's time to build the character.

Start by entering:

• Character Name
• Adult Age

Then choose one of three methods to define the appearance.

Option 1: Describe the Look

Write a concise visual description covering things like:

• face
• hair
• body
• outfit
• expression
• pose
• environment

Focus on the most recognizable traits instead of overloading the prompt with unnecessary detail

Describe the look, build attributes manually, or use a reference photo.

Option 2: Upload a Reference Photo

You can upload a portrait as visual reference.

Play Studio extracts the appearance from the image and generates a new character.

It recreates the overall look rather than editing the uploaded image directly, so the result may preserve major traits without reproducing every exact detail.

Upload, replace, or remove the reference photo.

For best results, use a reference photo with:

• one subject
• a clearly visible face
• good lighting
• styling that matches your intended character

Option 3: Build the Character

You can also manually choose appearance attributes.

Realistic builder categories and selectable attributes.

Available categories include:

• ethnicity
• eye color
• hairstyle
• hair color
• body type
• breast size
• butt size

After selecting the required attributes, apply the look to generate the character.

Step 8: Generate the Cover

Once everything looks right, generate the character image.

If you're not satisfied, you can regenerate the character look.

Each regeneration costs 50 Diamonds, so it's worth checking your description, reference image, age, Visual Style, and selected attributes before generating again.

The current cover appears beside the character name and age.

Step 9: Preview Your AI Girlfriend

Before publishing, review the entire experience.

Draft preview with cover, character info, play context, behavior, opening, replies, and description.

Make sure:

• the title matches the cover
• the description matches the story
• the personality matches the behavior
• the opening feels natural
• the player's first response isn't predetermined

Everything should tell the same story from beginning to end.

Step 10: Submit for Review

Publishing isn't immediate.

After reviewing your play:

1. Preview it as the owner.
2. Edit anything that feels inconsistent.
3. Submit it for admin review.
4. Wait for approval.

Once approved, your play becomes Live, and creator tools, analytics, and Welcome Boost become available.

Welcome Boost: Give New Players Free Messages

After your play goes live, you can enable Welcome Boost.

This feature lets new players send a creator-funded number of messages before a subscription is required.

Configure the allowance, fund the play, and review usage.

Key points:

• You decide how many free messages each new player receives.
• Eligible player messages cost 0.08 Diamonds each.
• Diamonds are deducted only for messages actually sent.
• Each player receives the allowance only once.
• If the sponsor balance reaches zero, Welcome Boost stops funding new messages until it's refilled.
• Setting the allowance to 0 disables Welcome Boost
