Safety — Eternal for iOS

Last updated: July 20, 2026

These terms and policies apply only to the Eternal application distributed through Apple’s App Store. Other Eternal products and web services may be governed by separate terms and policies.

Eternal for iOS is designed for fictional AI conversations and interactive storytelling. This page explains important boundaries, available safety measures, and how to raise a concern.

1. About Eternal for iOS

Every AI personality is fictional and generated by artificial intelligence. You are not communicating with a real person. Generated messages may be inaccurate, unexpected, or inappropriate and should not be treated as statements from a human.

2. Content boundaries

The Service must be used lawfully and with respect for the safety, dignity, privacy, and rights of others. The rules below focus on exploitation, non-consensual abuse, harassment, dangerous activity, and other conduct that can cause serious harm. Safety measures reduce risk but cannot prevent every harmful prompt, response, or upload.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

Do not use Eternal for iOS to create, request, or distribute:

  • Sexual content involving minors or any content that exploits, grooms, endangers, or sexualizes minors.
  • Non-consensual intimate content, sexual violence, or sexual exploitation.
  • Credible threats, harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse.
  • Hate or dehumanizing attacks against protected groups.
  • Encouragement or instruction for self-harm or violence.
  • Instructions that materially facilitate illegal activity.
  • Harmful or deceptive impersonation of a real person, including fraud or abuse using another person’s identity.
  • Another person’s passwords, payment information, government identifiers, private communications, or other sensitive information without authorization.

4. Safety systems

Certain images submitted through the app may be sent through an automated media-safety check before they are accepted. Service systems can also temporarily restrict messaging when spam or abusive usage patterns are detected.

These controls apply only where the relevant system is available. They do not guarantee that every prompt, generated response, image, audio item, or harmful behavior will be detected or prevented.

5. Reporting a safety concern

Email safety concerns to [email protected]. Include the account or AI personality involved, an approximate date and time, a clear description of what happened, and screenshots or message details when it is safe and lawful to share them.

Do not resend illegal content or material depicting the exploitation of a minor. Instead, describe the issue and preserve only the information necessary to identify the conversation or account.

6. Account enforcement

Eternal may block content or apply warnings, temporary messaging restrictions, account limits, suspension, or termination when we determine that conduct violates the iOS Terms of Service, threatens users or service integrity, or requires action under applicable law. The response may depend on severity, context, recurrence, and the controls available for the affected feature.

7. Protect your personal information

Do not share passwords, authentication codes, complete payment-card numbers, government identifiers, private keys, precise financial details, or other information you do not want processed. AI personalities cannot keep secrets in the way a trusted professional can. Review the iOS Privacy Policy for more information about data handling.

8. Professional and emergency support

Eternal for iOS is not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, crisis, or emergency services. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, stop using the app and contact the emergency services or a qualified crisis resource available in your location.

9. Safety contact
